This isn't exactly a new braid it's just another variation of a snake braid styled in a way that's suitable for back to school, college or even work.
The snake braid tutorial was probably one of the first on my channel and that was ages ago so at least tutorial has a voice over explaining the steps properly!
Brush you hair thoroughly to make sure all knots have been removed, this hairstyle is perfect for straight hair and most definitely suitable for wavy or curly hair too.
I suggest using a Remington curling wand, babyliss hot rollers for soft and natural curls or use a GHD for ribbon curls.
Keep the braid as tight as possible and if you find some strays or fly away's simply use some hairspray to smooth it out.
Use durable bobby pins, for a securer grip criss cross the bobby pins. When finishing with hairspray use Elnett for quality hold.
