We spent the day with the fam at the Los Angeles Zoo! It was bigger than I thought it was going to be. The map didn't look so big lol! The elephants weren't out so we didn't get to see them :( It was a super hot day so trying to get through the whole zoo with the kids and the rest of the family was a challenge, but the kids had a blast! Afterwards we took the kids to the Griffith Observatory to show them the beautiful Hollywood sign and the view of Los Angeles. It was gorgeous! We saw so many hiking trails from the view, I definitely want to hit up one of those trails the next time we're out there. We left LA and went down south to see our Rivas Fam in Oceanside. We haven't seen them since we were stationed in Virginia, so that means 3 years!!! Reunited .. and it feels so good! haha
