Soooo....... Believe it or not, this was my very first time actually doing a full look using latex! I have always just used gelatin in the past as it's easier to get hold of (everything from the grocery) and not as unpleasant to remove! So this was very much trial & error, which is my favourite thing really. I love experimenting with new things!

Anyhow, saying that.... There are a few things in hindsight that I would do different next time.
1. When preparing my latex shapes (on the clear plastic sheet) I should have powdered the top of the latex shapes just before they fully dried. This would take away the too-smooth finish, and the 'slip' of the latex that prevents eyeshadows from sticking to the surface.
2. The eye-bags & cheeks didn't really turn out exactly as I had envisioned but I had just guesstimated the shape & size free-hand. I would make the eye bags bigger next time, covering the entire semi-circle of the under-eye area again and probably 'puff' out the surface using cotton wool, or just build them directly onto the face, or instead, create the illusion of hallows (dark shadows) which would be much easier.
3. I was running out of time towards the end and didn't have enough time to perfect it as I wanted, but I would build up more layers of the tissue-paper/latex mix and shape the surface while the top layers are still a little wet to create the wrinkles and torn/rotten skin. Also I'd cover all of the face, but leave small gaps for movement.
Anyhow, like I said, it's all trial & error really so have a practice go at it (or 3) before, if ye do decide to wear it out.
I'd probably opt for a balding grey wig if I was to wear one. I had a black wig, but it was too 'healthy' looking for the finished look & that's why I went for the scarf. That or painting a bald cap the same colour & adding similar texture to it would be good too!
To Colour, I mixed the green Flash Colour by Makeup Forever (cream makeup) with an RCMA 'Pale Grey' Cream makeup, and applied this as the first layer. I powdered using the Ben Nye Neutral Set Powder to matte it down.
I went over this with random dark greens, browns and black eyeshadow to shape and colour but they weren't adhering to the latex pieces very well, so I mixed some of the Makeup Forever green cream with some of the brown flash colour by Makeup Forever, and stippled this over those areas.
I added some red & black pencil to my water lines also.
