As a disclaimer, I do several monolid tutorials that don't physically change the shape. I made this video because I believe that the beauty of monolids lies in their potential for versatility. I love monolids as much as I love double eyelids, and I love being able to switch between the two.

I made this video because I believe that the beauty of monolids lies in their potential for versatility. I love monolids as much as I love double eyelids, and I love being able to switch between the two.

I DO NOT believe that double eyelids result in the westernization of the beauty standard. My parents both have very deep double eyelids (my father's side is extremely prominent, deep set, and do not connect in the inner corners) and as I get older, sometimes my eyelids flip on their own if I'm wearing mascara and curl my eyelashes.

With that said, I don't think monolids are ugly. With more and more kpop artists emerging with monolid eyes, I find that the mindset that monolids are ugly is very outdated and narrow-minded. Please refrain from saying that monolids are ugly, as the comment is not constructive to your peers, to me, or to yourself.

Mono eyelid to double eyelid without glue or tape! I believe that this is the most natural looking and easiest way to achieve temporary double eyelids for those who have little or no luck with glue or tape.
