This is a "get ready with me" video, which means that it's not really a tutorial. It's more of a, "watch me while I get ready to go out" video. I did a pin up look that I think is really pretty, using Stila's in the Know Eye Shadow Palette. I went ahead and wrote out the steps below for those of you who would like some more info.

Step 1:
Prep skin with moisturizer, I use Clarin's Beauty Flash Balm, and then apply your foundation. If you want to stay true to old Hollywood style makeup, opt for a matte foundation. I mixed Kat Von D Lock it Foundation and Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hr Full Coverage Foundation. Use a concealer as needed around the eye area, I used Tarte's Creaseless Maracuja Concealer. Set with a mattifying powder, I used theBalm's Sexy Mama Anti-Shine Translucent Powder. Fill in brows with Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette.
Step 2:
Prep your eyes for eye shadow application; I like Make UP For Ever's Eye Prime. For eye shadow, I used Stila's In the Know Eye Shadow Palette, as it has only matte shadows. Apply a nude colored shadow all over the eyelid, for a base color, with a flat shader brush. Apply a soft matte brown color above the crease. Then taking a pointed crease brush, softly apply a charcoal colored shadow to outer part of the eyes in a V shape. Blend a little bit of a terracotta color above the crease . Then apply a cream colored shadow to the brow bone.
Step 3:
Apply a liquid liner to the upper lash line and wing it out. I used Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Liner. Using Lancome's Hypnose Star mascara, I built up several coats to get a false lash effect.
Step 4:
Take a matte bronzer like Urban Decay's Baked Bronzer in Toasted, and contour under your cheek bones and sides of your nose. Add a peachy blush to the apples of the cheeks and blend outwards; I used theBalm's Fratboy Blush. Add a little bit of theBalm's Mary Lou-Manizer to the highest points of your cheekbones for a highlight.
Step 5:
As a last step, apply your desired lip color. I went with a classic red with a hint of coral, using OCC's Lip Tar in Harlot. But if you're too timid for a red, a nude lip will work too! If you do go for a red lip I suggest painting on your lips with a lip brush. To sharpen up the edges, take a concealer and a concealer brush, and apply the concealer around the lip line area.
