Hey everyone, first of all I need to apologize for not doing any voice over or anything, but anyway you can see what I'm doing and the list of products is right below. Now, I wanted to explain the look . So Donkey Skin, is a fairytale, I'm sure you've all heard about it, but the look I've done here, is inspired by the movie by Jaques Demy in 1970, it's a french movie, and it's on youtube with english subtitles if you want to check it out . It is one of my favourite movies, it's absolutely amazing, the decor, and costumes are just WOW !
In the movie, the princess, wants to escape her father who decided that he would marry her, so she run to her fairy godmother who first tell her, to request dresses before the wedding. She first ask for a dress, colour of the weather, then a dress color of the moon and then a dress colour of the sun . ( I hope it's the right order, but I believe it is ). This series of tutorials that I am doing inspired by the movie are actually inspired by the dresses . ( there's another one which is inspired by something else in the movie, but surprise surprise ! )
The make up in the video above is inspired by the dress colour of the moon .
LIST OF PRODUCTS USED IN THIS VIDEO :
Foil paper .
Pritt glue stick ( any will do. ) this step is essential cause you can remove this glue with water/ make up remover, never ever put liquid glue in your eyebrows, this glue protects the hair from the liquid glue .
Sephora Shimmers ( it's white but apparently don't have a name )
Silver Cream Eyeshadow .
White Cream Eyeshadow .
Huhu liquid glue .
The round shaped plastic things on the foil paper, you can find that in a good craft store . Mine doesn't have a brand I got a big box of those things for a few euros .
The music used is : Clair de Lune by Debussy ( Perfect theme right ;) "Lune" means "Moon" if you didn't know )
