I think that people come up with some really pretty water marble designs, but sometimes they are lost on my short nails. I haven't the patience to grow mine past a certain length because I use my hands all day long doing stuff and they always seem to break or peel. So that doesn't mean that I can't have a pretty water marble that doesn't take a million years to do. Those are the two obstacles this tutorial tackles. Ease of doing it, and making it look pretty with what you have to work with. On a side note, those of you who have longer nails this would look even more amazing.
I call this the lazy person water marble because it really requires no effort or artistic skill to create. The polish does all the work for you, you just have to let it do it's thing where it melts together and creates more than one color. I used Sally Hansen polish because it's cheap, creamy, and is thick enough and slow enough to dry so that you can really get the effect you want. No other drugstore brand I have tried works as well as this formula. That's why I repeatedly use that brand in my water marble tutorials. You can use what ever two colors you want. I seem to be in a blue phase for most of my life. I am Pisces so what do you expect.
Colors I used:
OPI Nail Strengthener
SH Blue It
SH White On
Revlon No Chip Top Coat
