DIY: Coloured Clip-in Extensions!!

YOU WILL NEED:
Large garbage Bag
Tape
Aluminum Foil
White paper
100% Human hair extensions
1 or more hair Colour(s) JEROME RUSSELL PUNKY COLOURS
Colour Brushes
Colour bowls
Matching thread colour
Hair extensions clips
Samples of hair colours

HOW TO DO IT:
Making small samples of the colours will help you see how the final product could look.

Make sure you cover space where you are working and wear gloves! These Colours will stain badly! get everything out and easy to grab.

Use Foil and measure that the extensions will fit on the foil. Hold the hair firmly on the sewn edge and work bottom up working in the direction of the hair from the sewn edge(weft).

Mix your colours if you need to. Or use as is.

Test your colours on white paper to ensure the right colour you want. Remembering that the colour will look brightest on lighter hair and dark to darkest on med to dark hair. I've used 2 types. The lightest blonde i could find. A mix of blonde and caramel for the second. This helps to create a little contrast and depth.

SATURATE, SATURATE, SATURATE!!! make sure all hair is evenly covered.

Check the instructions on colour bottle for processing time. I did 20 minutes for these extensions.
Rinse in cold water. Shampoo lightly. Colour will run each time you wash them. and they will lighten up over time. Condition and rinse well.

Use leave in conditioner and let dry on a towel over night.

Clip in to your natural hair and style as you wish!
