I have been flat ironing my 4 year old daughter's hair on medium heat, since she was three years old. I wasn't as knowledgeable about other styling methods when she was younger and it seemed that straighter hair was more manageable at that time. However, after I decided to go natural I desired the same thing for her too. I want her to be able to embrace her natural beauty too and fall in love with her GOD-given hair texture just as I have. Her older sister (my 14 year old) has always been natural, but used to flat iron her hair too. However, since my sister taught her how to 2 strand twist her hair she has never looked back!!! NATURAL GIRLS ROCK!!!!
