This is a simple tutorial for super tight, spiral curls. I am a big fan of heat-free styling ideas, but the typical buns to achieve curls get annoying if you plan to sleep on it overnight.

There are many other ways to achieve curls, but it is usually very difficult to get curls as small as these. This look may not be to everyone's taste but it's a great way to add lots and lots of texture and volume to other looks.
I find that when I pre-curl my hair for certain looks, the curls are more often than not, swallowed up entirely. These tiny curls are more ideal to use as a base for other looks such as buns, braids, etc. Please keep a watch out for my next few tutorials as they will be demonstrating how to incorporate these curls into other looks.
