How to..... transform a plain vest into a custom on trend piece

Here is the 2nd in my how to series, this time I decided to customise a vest with on trend crosses, they seem to be everywhere at the moment but as I'm broke with Christmas coming up I wanted to achieve the look on the cheap. ASOS and TOPSHOP both have some lovely cross embellished items out right now. I used a Sainsburys vest (£6) and some fabric paints I got for £3 in the January sales. (Primark vests are not good for this kind of customising, as they are too thin and don't react well or wash well with this kind of fabric paint on - unless they are the thicker ones, this really needs a good quality thick vest)
