If you want to try a box, there are SO many coupon codes out there that allow you to do so for less than the cost of a monthly subscription. I used the code "FB" to get my first box for $5, but in the event that one is expired, try "first5". Otherwise google "coupon code for Julep Maven" and plenty of results will pop up.

Pros:
-You can see the contents of your box before you receive it and, should you be dissatisfied, you can get a "shelf pull" and they will replace the contents of your box.
-You can skip months without completely cancelling your service.
-Many, if not most, of their products are full sized.
-They are very prompt in answering emails and have wonderful customer service!

Cons:
-The nail polishes, while good, are not stellar in quality.
-The nail strips (at least the pack I received) are absolute duds. While this may be excusable for any other subscription service, Julep specializes in nails, so I would expect all of their products to be well tested and approved by people who know hands and nails.
-And, as inconsequential as it may be for some, the brush was more difficult to work with than a regular nail polish brush because of its extra length.
