Hey guys!
This is my entry to SabyLoves Bakery Contest :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riezMAc9adg
The contest helper was as follows:
French Pastries
Cake, cupcakes, sweets, cookies
Rainbows and unicorns
My Dog
Key from Shinee
San-X (especially Rilakkuma, mamegoma and kutisitanyanko)
Purple
Cute stuff
Original creative things
Here's how I followed the contest helper:
-The cupcake I made before was a perfect 'container' since she likes cupcakes! :)
-I added a rainbow sprinkle-like effect to the cream dollop to make it more colorful and because she likes rainbows.
-I like making useful things, so the cupcake as a whole is a container, but can be displayed as a mini bakery now too :)
-I made jewelry to follow the helper as follows:
French pastries on the ring
Mamegoma cream dollop earrings - they're made of Pluffy clay and are SUPER lightweight
A purple Kutisitanyanko pendant, with the kitty on one side, and a cookie on the other to flow with the bakery theme
A purple/rainbow macaroon-inspired pendant in rainbow colors with a unicorn - since she loves those - and inside there is a space for a picture (of her dog maybe?) and a glass dome to keep the picture safe and magnified
-The Bakery itself is inspired by Rilakkuma Cafe, and Rilakkuma is a little chef :)
-The whole "floor" is painted purple
-The sink/oven counter is a necessity in any bakery
-The first counter has a chocolate cake on a stand, and a marble slab with chocolate being tempered (cooking terms ftw :D). There are also some cookies cooling down on the baking tray and a bowl of said chocolate :)
-The second counter has pastries and sweet things that Rilakkuma is working on at the moment. He has made some baguettes (seen on the stand), some danishes and croissants that are yet to be baked, and has a container of flour handy to keep the dough from sticking. The donuts on the top are already made and glazed with the white glaze seen in the bowl. These are the Mamegoma donuts I showed in my previous craft update - inspired by a packaging of my Mamegoma keychains.
I hope you like my entry :D I would be more than happy to send all these creations to you if i win and if you wanted them ^^
Good luck to everyone and thank you for holding the contest! :)
