WATERTRIBE is an exclusive makeup look inspired by the Watertribe clan from the show, Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Watertribe generally lives in cold, icy polar environments. Some of their people have the ability to "waterbend," meaning, to have the power to manipulate and control the element of water to their liking. Water can be used for sharp, icy destruction but can also be used to heal, calm and cool. In this look I tried to incorporate cool colors that would remind fans of Avatar of the Watertribe: pale aqua's, blues, dark midnight blues, shimmering silvers and some black. The optional black battle mark under the eye was inspired by the makeup that the men of the Watertribe wear when going to battle.

Because they live in a cold place, their cheeks are probably a bit rosey most of the time. The natural colored lipstick used with a coat of rusty brown was used to help bring that "tribal" feel to the look while adding a bit of warmth to the face, since all of the eyemakeup is in cool colors. This look was made to wear to Avatar themed events, but if you wear this look without the battle marks and maybe tone down the eyemakeup, this could also be a special occasion look for you!
At the end I was trying to create the appearance of waterbending with a blue colored scarf and some water sound effects... it was worth the try!
