*** SCARE WARNING ***
This tutorial contains some possibly scary images and footage! If you get startled or shaken up by such visuals, please be warned. Most will be at the beginning and end of the video. In the middle for the most part, I act normal :P
This eerie tutorial will help you transform & mutate yourself into the infected Witch from Left 4 Dead. You can use this for Halloween and cosplay but the face makeup can also apply to zombie makeup and horror/demonic characters.
I did my best to also give tips on how to make your own costume for the rest of your body regarding body paint, gashes and her long claws with as many homemade tactics as I could muster. I'm aware that the Witch really wears a ripped white tanktop and white underwear but come on now, I'm pretty crazy but I'm not about to charge at you all on the Internet shrieking in white underwear.
NOW WOULDN'T THAT BE CLASSY?!
Anyway, the best part about horror makeup is you can take a break from needing to be super neat and precise and symmetrical as you have to in glamour & casual makeup. Instead of treating your face like a delicate document, you can get much more messy and creative and treat your face like a blank art canvas ready to be splattered with colors, creams and paints. You do not necessarily need to do any of these steps in a particular order - just keep assessing your face and seeing what you might want to add. Printing out some reference pictures of The Witch will be helpful in dressing up too & in applying your makeup.
