Makeup may be easy to apply for some people but maintaining a fresh application is easily more difficult. This cant be more true when it comes to the lips. Now priming and setting your lip cosmetics is a whole different story. But one of the easiest and most beneficial ways to keep your lip color lasting long and smooth while looking good is by keeping your lips conditioned.
Having healthy, moisturized lips should be something of interest by both genders. In short, it's good for you, looks good & feels good. This lengthy video gives an insider on what you shouldn't do if you already have chapped lips and things you CAN do to help them heal faster or maintain healthy lips, if you already have them. What's nice about lip products that are made to moisturize is ... most of them work, are easy to find (grocery stores or drug stores) and are affordable! ($1-2, $5 if you want to get fancy)
Having smooth lips makes makeup application much easier and it just feels right.
Hope these tips help! Feel free to share what worked best for you and even what didn't work so well :P
