How to make fake blood for film, photo shoots, Halloween, etc.
This is a cheap and affordable way to make a big, or small, amount of fake/costume blood whenever life calls for it? lol... fake blood is not readily available year round, and this stuff (IMO) looks more realistic than the ones sold at costume stores.
You'll probably already have the stuff needed somewhere in your kitchen. If you don't, don't worry... Nothing on the shopping list is seasonal! :)
All you will need:
Light Corn Syrup (Karo)
Chocolate Syrup (or equal parts coco powder and water)
Red food coloring (liquid, gel, or powder form)
Water (opt. if blood is too thick)
Toothpicks
Spoon to stir
Bowl or cup to mix in
Container to store your blood (if you are not planning to use it that day)
