I wear a -6.50 in glasses but a -7.00 in contacts. I'm near-sighted. Very. lol. I can see by shape and color. Some people ask how I see because I have such a high number in prescription but I can find out what things are so quickly. Plus, I've gotten so use to my eyesight since I've wearing glasses since 3rd grade (and now I'm in 12th grade so 9 years). I hope that answers your questions.
