Decided to dye some of my hair purple. Made this video to show you guys some tricks I use to keep the color lasting longer. I have very fine hair and it REALLY doesn't enjoy holding on to hair color :(

More tips:
=Rinse your hair with cold water every time you wash your hair. Cold water will seal the cuticle, thus sealing in color. Do this even if your hair isn't dyed; it'll make your hair shiny!
=Try out different dyes from different brands. You may find that certain colors work better for you than others. For example, pink dye by Special Effects stays in my hair forever, but their purple vanishes very quickly,
=Don't wash your hair every day. You shouldn't be doing this to begin with; stripping your hair of its natural oils that often is no bueno.
=When you do wash your hair, use shampoo for color-treated hair.
=The lighter your hair color, the more vibrant and the longer the color will stay in. You might want to bleach your hair if you really want the color to come out nice.

Products used:
RAW Color - blue dye (came out dark purple. go figure)
Special Effects - Atomic Pink
