What I did:

Removed old decor above bed
Added reeds I got from outside into dollar store frames. I love how natural and minimal this looks!
My white duvet was so boring so I decided to add warmth to the room by adding a caramel colored duvet cover! No need to buy a whole new bed set!
The duvet cover was a king size and it came with king size pillow shams, so technically I could skip buying new king size pillows but I’m glad I didn’t! These amazon king size pillows are little clouds! So comfy!
Using the same reeds from outside, I decided to add them as decor on our nightstands. They look so cute! I saved money/ was too lazy to go buy new vases so I opted to use water glasses we had.
again, same reeds. I added longer ones near the mirror, perfect decor for mirror pics! I did buy a vase at dollar tree.
This throw is so soft! It adds texture and coziness to our bed and ties everything together.

A FEW NOTES

The king size pillows are nice for decor, super soft and comfy but they lose their shape and deflate almost instantly. I would only use these as decor.
Duvet cover is so soft. I 100% recommend!
Throw blanket is plush and soft and the tassels are well made but this isn’t a huge blanket. I know the measurements are on amazon but just in case no one reads that I thought I would share.
