If anyone is wondering about my costume, I make mine almost every year! For the Alice in Wonderland dress, I cut an old blue dress that I already had in my closet and hemmed the bottom much shorter. I used white thigh highs, black velvet peep toe wedges and a black glitter headband to complete the look. My white rabbit purse I found online. I loved that I didn't have to bring a regular purse and was able to keep my phone and ID in there. Such a nice thing to have! For the Mad Hatter; Chris got his corderoy pants, suspenders and wig on Amazon. We got his floral scarf thrifting! :) His shirt was from his dad's closet. I HIGHLY encourage going thrifting and DIYing your costumes. I find you can look much classier and save so much more money doing it this way instead of buying a super expensive, unoriginal, cheap looking costume that a bunch of other people are already being. I was really happy with the way ours turned out! Even if I did lose my original bow headband. hahaha.
