- It's best to book a tour when you get there. Almost all the drivers we encountered are available to tour around Bali and it's much cheaper than booking online. With drivers, you can bargain for the price (just be fair) and choose where you want to go. Ask the concierge at your hotel if they can recommend a driver.
- If you know someone who visited Bali, most likely that they have contacts for drivers on WhatsApp. Maybe they can recommend a driver to you. If you want our driver contact, feel free to message us! Most of the drivers we encountered were trustworthy (except two people which we didn't save their contacts). If that specific driver is not available to do a tour during your visit, it's best to ask them if they can recommend another trusted driver.
- If a driver offers you a coffee tasting experience - do not book a tour with them! These are known scams and drivers get a percentage from those tasting tours.
