Guys... this was hard to film. I'm someone who likes to see the glass half full and trying out the makeup eraser for this makeup eraser review was agonizing. I tried the original makeup eraser out for several weeks to answer the question, "Does the makeup eraser work?" My answer to that is a hard NO! I tried the makeup eraser to remove light makeup, face makeup only, eye makeup only, and full on glam makeup. None of these varieties of makeup were easy enough for the makeup eraser. I had to tug hard at my skin to see any results with the makeup eraser removing my makeup. For my eye makeup, it was practically useless. It would remove a little eyeshadow, but no mascara or eyeliner really. I don't even wear waterproof mascara. If the original makeup eraser product is something that interests you, I would recommend just using a soft washcloth with some water. That is essentially what the makeup eraser is and the washcloth would not be $20! The whole claim of the makeup eraser is that it removes makeup with just water.... when I tried a normal washcloth with water it was far more effective. I still prefer using an actual cleanser with the washcloth, but it works better than the makeup eraser and will save you a lot of coin. I hope the makeup eraser demo in this video shows you the difficult time I had with it taking very little makeup off. Overall, I would not recommend the makeup eraser to anyone. It was that bad and I doubt having a different skin type than mine (oily) would change the way the makeup eraser works on you.
