❤️ MY VLOG BLOG ❤️
Watching her cry or hold back her tears, because she misses her dad WILL NEVER become a normal for me. I will NEVER get use to seeing her hurt and cry, because he is gone for days or weeks at a time. In the beginning, my throat would get thick as I held back my tears watching her hold back hers. Even if she is misbehaving, I just hold her tight and reassure her that daddy loves her and will be home soon to see her. I am thankful for technology and the ability to facetime over hand written letters and post cards…

Over the past few days, I didn’t capture all of her crying moments, because I didn’t want to over-expose her sincere feelings. I would like to share that in the evening and night, she looks at his pictures and say something like “look… that’s daddy’s hair… I miss daddy’s hair” and begin to cry. And the older she gets, the harder it is to see him leave every month. She understands that he isn’t coming home for some time and it hurts her to the core.

To make the time past, I try to keep her busy and spoil her a little more. Lots of kisses, hugs and maybe a new toy. Being around her friends help too! There dads are also in “the box” working just like her dad, so the moms have each other to lean on and the girls have each other too.

❤️Our 100% REAL LIFE PROMISE TO YOU:
It’s not always organized or clean over here (my office is almost never organized), and we have dog fur on our couch. Zari toys aren’t always put away and her stash is a little over the top, we know. I think it’s time to donate soon (which she gladly does often). I don’t always wear makeup and even when I do I still look tired LOL! We eat plant based with a focus on alkaline foods (Dr. Sebi teachings), but we do not label ourselves as vegan. We live in a much smaller house compared to our other home, so our home I quite cozy and a little full LOL. Despite the tightness, we are blessed and thankful to have a roof over our head. You will see sand a lot, and that’s because we live on an army base in a remote part of the southern California desert. You will not see our families a lot… they live on the east coast. We aren’t perfect, and I won’t try to pretend like we are, but that’s the beauty of life! We look different, think different, live different… imagine if a bunch of different people were friends! We could all learn from one another… learn different cultures and, ideologies… we could “end” stereotyping then work side by side to make this world a better place! *I’m such a hopeful person* *I believe we can do better and we will do better*
