Where we stayed in San Pedro (would recommend!): https://matarocks.com/
Things we recommend doing and eating in San Pedro:
- Snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve (it's so good, we went back twice!)
- Biking in the city, and up and down the coast
- Caye Caulker is a fun day trip! You can walk around the island in about an hour.
- Pupusaria Salvadoreno
- Pier 366 Seafood House

Where we stayed in San Ignacio (would recommend!): https://www.cahalpech.com/
It's right by the Cahal Pech Mayan Ruins, which are so worth a visit! Locals downplayed the size, but we thought they were pretty incredible!
We did 2 tours (both facilitated by the resort), and they were awesome. One was a day trip to see the Caracol Mayan Ruins + Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve, and the other was to the ATM Cave. We don't have any footage of the ATM Cave because they don't allow cameras in it any more, but it is a MUST-SEE. Seriously, google it.
For restaurants, you HAVE TO go to Guava Limb, and Ko-Ox Han Nah (Let's Go Eat)
