Hey RRLV Fam! Today we are spending the day in downtown DC, with my mom and friends! Annnnnd, we are taking the subway! I haven’t been on the subway in almost 20 years, but I’m excited anyway, because it is Zari’s first time!

We took the subway downtown to explore with the kiddos and we did A LOT of walking! I forgot about the city life (walking everywhere), but I did remember to bring extra shoes LOL! Zari had so much fun with everyone! She missed them so much and she learned a little today too :) But we did have to leave early, because they were all over the place in there lol! If you missed it in the video, we visited the Smithsonian Museum. It is free. The only museum that you need a pass for is the African American Museum (can’t wait to go see it). Since the last vlog, Zari is doing better, but there is still work to do (love therapy work). Papa bear is working HARD, studying HARD and super busy at school, but he said hello to everyone and he can’t wait to come home!

It’s not always organized or clean over here, and we have dog fur on our couch. Zari toys aren’t always put away. I don’t always wear makeup and even when I do I still look tired LOL! We eat plant based and I tend to stay away from oils, refined sugars and a few other things to significantly lessen the fibromyalgia symptoms. We do not label ourselves as vegan. We are currently moving from the Mojave Desert, CA to the East Coast, for a new chapter of our lives! We aren’t perfect, and I won’t try to pretend like we are, but that’s the beauty of life! We look different, think different, live different… imagine if a bunch of different people were friends! We could all learn from one another… learn different cultures and, ideologies… we could “end” stereotyping then work side by side to make this world a better place! *I’m such a hopeful person* *I believe we can do better and we will do better*
