DIY Leather Strap Bracket Floating Shelves
Today I am going to show you how I DIY my cheap and affordable leather strap bracket floating shelves inspired by Jaci Marie. All materials were purchased under $60USD. This is a great alternative if you're looking for a cheaper alternative a temporary fixture for your home.
Materials:
Wood- I purchased pine wood from Lowes they were about $5 a piece. The wood was 6ft in length.
Leather Straps- Purchased from Walmart for $3. Size s/m would work fine. Try to get the same sizes so it will be easier to keep the measurements the same and less work on your part. $20
Nails: Lowes $1 im sure youll have nails laying around the house.
Wood Screws: $1 I bought a pack of six in total for the three shelves that I made. You only need two screws for one shelf.
Wood Treatment Oil- Ikea found in the as is section for $2.50
Sand paper: $5 Lowes
