RRLV Fam! Your prayers and thoughts are always appreciated as we make this journey apart to the east coast! I know the Lord will watch over us both and unite us once again! It was something I had to think about for a few days, BEFORE agreeing to this new plan, but I think it’s the smartest route for us. I know people are going to disagree and think that its dangerous for us to let him do that alone, but I trust his judgment and I trust God.

My scalp and I have an extensive relationship… when I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia I also developed seborrheic dermatitis… that subsides after eating a plant based, low fat high carb diet along with ACV washes. Well… after living here in the Mojave desert for almost 3 years, I develop a seriously dry scalp, clear white patches not greasy or yellow in color. Since, I was not interested in OTC shampoos or any other treatment that will mask the issue, I researched and learned that over exposing my scalp to the sun for an extended period of time could have significantly contributed to this issue! SO, I did more research, came up with a plan and I’m going to continue with the routine… I will keep you posted of course and share my findings to help others!

My SUPER SIMPLE no oil plant based chili recipe:
1 box of chickpeas (no salt added)
1 box of black beans (no salt added)
1 cup of frozen fire roast corn
1cup of frozen bell peppers
1 jar of fat free pasta sauce (whole foods brand)
2 celery stalks
2 carrots
Some taco seasoning (about 1 TBS)
Cook instant pot on high pressure for 25 mins +

It’s not always organized or clean over here, and we have dog fur on our couch. Zari toys aren’t always put away. I don’t always wear makeup and even when I do I still look tired LOL! We eat plant based and I tend to stay away from oils, refined sugars and a few other things to significantly lessen the fibromyalgia symptoms. We do not label ourselves as vegan. We are currently moving from the Mojave Desert, CA to the East Coast, for a new chapter of our lives! We aren’t perfect, and I won’t try to pretend like we are, but that’s the beauty of life! We look different, think different, live different… imagine if a bunch of different people were friends! We could all learn from one another… learn different cultures and, ideologies… we could “end” stereotyping then work side by side to make this world a better place! *I’m such a hopeful person* *I believe we can do better and we will do better*
