Show More We’re always asked how to achieve the Milk and Blush signature waves, so we thought we’d do a cute tutorial on how to achieve these gorgeous curls and accessorise with My Kitsch accessories!

To achieve the look you will need your gorgeous Milk and Blush Extensions to add volume and thickness to your own hair, some heat protectant spray, sectioning clips, a medium sized curling iron, hairspray and of course some hair accessories of your choosing. Pssst! We recommend My Kitsch.

Once you’ve clipped in all your hair extensions, we are using the Deluxe set in the shade Second Base, and in the length 24-26 inches, (you can see a more in depth video on how to clip in the Deluxe set here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNJhvNLK_Z8).
You then want to part your hair and work in small sections so that all of the hair heats up evenly, this helps ensure the curls are all uniform. Release them carefully from the barrel, hold them for a second or two then slowly drop the curls. You don’t want to release the curls too quickly as this will stretch the shape and will in effect ruin the style as the curls won't be consistent or blend with one another.

Once you’ve done this all over, your curls will need to cool completely so that they hold their shape and last all day! You then want to spritz your hair with a memory spray or a light hairspray for that extra bit of hold. Once your hair is cool you can then begin brushing out the defined curls, trust us! Start from the bottom and work your way up to the top of your hair, this allows any knots you may have work themselves out and causes less tension and stress on your roots.

You can then take your brush and in big sections, back brush your hair from underneath, this gives your hair incredible volume, just be careful not to overdo it! You can then tidy up the look, spritz with a shine spray and voila! Your curls are ready and made to last!
