Hey guys! Today we're taking a break from ABH, and looking at the Urban Decay Wired Palette with a very blue eye makeup look. Clearly I wanted to go the complete opposite direction of pink.
Show More Hey guys! Today we're taking a break from ABH, and looking at the Urban Decay Wired Palette with a very blue eye makeup look. Clearly I wanted to go the complete opposite direction of pink.

Although I love the colors, I do have a bone to pick with the wired palette. Yes I am super happy that Urban Decay decided to go super colorful (finally), but some of these colors are a little hard to blend. The lighter colors, I kind of figured I'd have to use a white base to make them pop, that's not the Wired palette's fault, it's just a light color thing. But some of the colors, especially the red and the blue are just a pain to blend. And the orange totally looks like the red on the eye. Blend them together and you basically used the same color.

When did this turn into an Urban Decay Wired palette review? No idea. But the colors, once you get them to blend, hold very well. The lime green color stands on its own very well.

So would you use the Urban Decay wired palette? Are bright colors your thing? Or is blue the cut off? Let me know in the comments!
