Hi... I hope you guys understand where this is coming from. I wish I could give you some positive words, but all I have in me that is positive is reflection. Reflection on what truly matters to me, which is love, my loved ones, happiness, health, and the well being if humanity.

This is just some insight of my own personal struggles during this crazy time. I am not asking for any empathy, this is just me venting, being real.. and admitting that I am sad and discouraged in my profession. I am admitting that I left when I saw that my role was going to change in my unit (without my consent) from a neuro ICU nurse to a Covid nurse. I am also admitting that although leaving for the sake of my families safety was a selfless thing to do, it was also selfish for me as a nurse.

I realize that some people have it way worse... I know some are not hurting, but we all are in a weird place, some in a bad place.... I know I am not the only one in my position, so hopefully nurses out there can relate, know you're not alone in frustration and sadness. My ex-coworker had a hot coffee thrown at her for wearing scrubs to put gas... people are saying all kinds of shit about healthcare professionals, and now some even think we should be killed. Not having the support of our government is one thing, being seen as expendable by administration is another, but now society sees us as a threat? it is heartbreaking.


When I go back to work in a few weeks, it will be as an ICU nurse, part time, likely with Covid patients... I will update you guys on what happens in my life as time goes on. I will also be posting other videos to lift all our spirits.
