We receive so many queries on creating an ‘Ariana Grande’ style ponytail, so we thought we would film a really in depth video with a ton of tips and tricks on how to achieve this look.
The technique and steps are a little longer than just wrapping hair around the base of the ponytail, but we promise, it is SO worth it. These techniques are what celebrity hairstylists Jen Atkin, Justine Marjan and Chris Appleton are using to create the amazing ponytails you see on your favourite celebrities.
The key here is to take your time, work in neat sections and pay attention to detail. The more you practice the easier this look will come and you’ll be completing it in no time! The reason the hair extensions are clipped in the way that they are, is so that the tension and weight of the extra hair isn't all in one area, by spreading the clips around the head you're actually keeping your hair a lot healthier and creating less tensions at the root.
We finished off the look with the absolutely stunning Kitsch X Justine Marjan hair accessories. These cute accessories really do elevate any look. So if you’ve been thinking about ways to freshen up your hairstyle, these accessories are the perfect addition to your hairdrobe.
