ABOUT THE SERIES ↓
The Makeup of the Zodiac Series is my first makeup series where I create extreme, theatrical looks of each sign based on my personal interpretation of the sign's characteristics and symbolism. These looks will not follow the typical interpretations people have done in the past (i.e.; many people do a mermaid look for Pisces, but I don't want to do that). I try to upload a new look once per month.

ARIES was based off many things. One of them was Ares, god of war in Greek mythology. His physical appearance varies a lot in portraiture and sculpture, but he usually wears battle armor. Since war is often associated with death, I decided to make Aries wear a sort of mask/face armor that resembles a skull. I gave Aries pretty thick, winged up eyebrows to give a more masculine, angry appearance. And lastly, Aries is symbolized by the element fire, so I created a very winged out eye look with a red base to give the illusion of flames...though it probably doesn't look like that lol.

While filming this look I skipped over a few parts, but I think you get the general gist of what I was doing. Not a very pretty look - but none of these Zodiac looks are really meant to be pretty (although I'll probably do something "pretty" for Libra).

TAURUS will be up on June 6. Probably won't do something as extreme - but I've got some horns to make! :)
