► LAST WEEK: The Acne Tag! http://bit.ly/1pMzrhc
This week, I'm happy to bring you a requested video - my everyday makeup routine! Each time I do a video on how to cover acne, scarring or pimples, I'm asked about what the frig I put on the rest of my face. Now you know! :)
Hey guys!
I am in no way a makeup pro. I enjoy wearing and using makeup a lot more these days, and I use it in a simple way to 'get the job done' most of the time. I know I have done a lot of makeup videos lately, which has never really been my thing on this channel (oh my God, have you seen my old makeup tutorials? Shocking!!) However, it's been quite some time since I showed how to finish off a makeup look, so that's why I decided to get it over and done with this week!
This routine is my 'go to' makeup look. I wear this when I am working a normal shift, about 5 hours, and it lasts during that time. If I am working longer than that, then I use a longer lasting foundation such as the Revlon Colourstay. I still get oily regardless - so remember to pack some tissues or blotting paper to use during the day to mop away the shine.
The products used in this tutorial, or mentioned include:
- Lancome Genifique Yeux Eye Cream
- People For Plants Mist Toner*
- Olay 7-in-1 Moisture Cream for Blemish Prone Skin
- L'Oreal Base Magique Primer
- Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer in 001
- Benefit The Porefessional Primer*
- Face Of Australia Eye Primer in Matte
- TheBalm 'Keep a lid on it' eye primer*
- Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Light Pale*

Products marked with a * were sent to me for testing and/or review. If I like it, I use it. It's that simple. Expect to see further reviews of these products and more on my blog at http://www.jessaboutaverage.com
Of course you absolutely DO NOT have to use these products, or use as many. It's your face - you're in control! Go to town if you like with bright pink lips and winged liner. It's up to you!
If you want to grab some MUA products, they are pretty cheap and produce generally good results. Sometimes they are hit and miss, but the two I use in this makeup tutorial are my favourites. Their website can be found at http://www.muastore.co.uk
The majority of brushes I use are from Furless. I've used part of their Purple Power pack and Travel pack. Their website is: http://www.furlesscosmetics.com.au They also stock EcoTools.
