This drawing was done on toned paper with charcoal (THE BRAND I USE IS CALLED GENERALS CHARCOAL), charcoal pencils and vine charcoal ( which if you draw and haven't tried it, YOU HAVE TO !) it blends out really well and it makes it easy to do shading. I also used white charcoal pencils and a brush to blend it out. A drawing is composed of highlights, darks and mid tones, the toned paper gives you the mid tones already thats why its so awesome to draw on, and all you have to do is add the highlights and dark tones.
now i know the drawing is not perfect but hey! my drawings will never be perfect unless i practice so I'm just trying to improve my technique by practicing and you guys seem to enjoy these videos so far so i just want to share them with you :)
