Hollywood... the place where movies and television are filmed and stars are discovered. When I searched for inspiration to create this stunning beauty editorial, I reminisced about the iconic beauties that have been burned into my mind through decades of films and entertainment. From the most iconic blonde sex symbol of the silver screen, to the beloved actress with the jet black hair and uniquely violet eyes- I wanted to take this opportunity to create magic with my makeup skills by transforming one modern model named Jade into 4 distinctly different portraits of beauty heroines. Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", Marilyn Monroe in "Gentleman Prefer Blondes", Elizabeth Taylor in "Cleopatra", and Liza Minnelli in "Cabaret.

Mathias Alan is a makeup and hair artist that began his career in Los Angeles over 10 years ago and is extremely talented, creative, and passionate about his craft! Mathias has painted gorgeous faces and created eye catching hairstyles for the red carpet, pop music icons, on air talent, and numerous commercials and music videos. In addition to his experience choreographing runway shows, hosting cosmetics educational seminars, and keying fashion week makeup teams, he is also featured as an on air celebrity makeup artist expert with the Cloutier Remix agency.
