"Independence for a young adult suffer EB can often be difficult. Not only venturing out on your own for the first time but also doing so with a devastating skin disease making it even more of a challenge. This can be a scary process and can also be hard.

Recently Nate and Stevie privately rented a unit and have recently been told by the property owner who lives upstairs that they will soon have to move again,as the owner doesn't take kindly to Stevie crying in pain during bandage changes.

Moving and finding a new place is made even harder during a rental shortage across australia and finding a place that will suite Stevie's constant care and have all the items they require to live comfortably. Unfortunately they were not counting on this move and have found themselves needing a bit of a hand. They do not have furniture or appliances and would love some assistance to help them on building a future!


"I Suffer from a rare gentic skin condition called Epidermolysis bulloas (EB). I Have a serve form of this condition which makes my skin as fragile as a butterflies wing it blisters at the slightest of touch, I am covered from chest to toes in bandages I have no finger yet I still manage day to day activatives with help from Nathaniel, although it is tough at times for everyone involed. Having such fragile skin can be scary yet I never let this stop me from doing what I love I live each day just like its my last day on earth."

The big challenge is finding a rental home that will meet the special needs of Stevie's wound care. A place that has a bath and air conditioning is just the beginning.

Stevie and Nate need a hand purchasing basic appliances such as washer, dryer refrigerator to name just a few.
