HI HI!
I've been meaning to get this video up for a long long time and finally here it is!! first off i want to excuse my boobs basically being in the video, i did not mean for that to happen. but it is what it is. anyway! cleaning your brushes is EXTREMELY important. although it does wear out the hairs on the bristles, its unavoidable. if you don't clean your brushes, bacteria can gather and so can oils from your skin. when you use the brushes again on your skin it can cause breakouts. i have a lot of brushes and a variety of the same so i clean my brushes about once or twice a month. if you have one set of brushes for yourself, i suggest you try to clean them at least once a week, if not once every two weeks!
Mixture to clean brushes:
20% Oil
80% Dish Soap
...if you use too much oil or don't mix it well enough, the oil can sit inside of your brushes!
For smaller brushes, sometimes its easiest to clean them off in makeup remover first and then remove the access with the soap!
i hope this helps! if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below! XX
