I tried so hard not to laugh while filming this. Oh my gosh! I almost scrapped the whole thing, but figured I'd share my epic fail.

► LAST WEEK: ACNE LIES!! http://bit.ly/OcDZMj
Hey guys!
So I started off this 5 minute makeup challenge with good intentions. I had been able to get ready and cover my acne so quickly a few days prior to filming, I not only surprised myself but thought it would be good to share what I did! But then I went to film it... and you know, these things never turn out how you think they will. I was still able to cover my scarring and acne, but gosh! I stuffed up! lol
I filmed this video twice, because of the blurry footage. BOTH TIMES IT WAS BLURRY. I don't even know what happened, but trust me, I was frustrated! So please forgive me! I almost scrapped this whole idea.
► Products I used for this look are:
- The Balm TimeBalm Vanilla Oil-Absorbing Moisturiser for combination skin
- The Balm Put A Lid On It eye primer (not shown)
- Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer in 001
- Maybelline Age Rewind concealer
- Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder Foundation in Deep Natural
- The Balm Instain Long Wearing Staining Powder Blush in Argyle
- MUA eye shadow from The Artiste Collection palette
- Benefit Gimmie Brow
- Benefit They're Real Mascara
- e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick
You don't have to use the same products I did, but I would suggest that if you need to get ready in a hurry then pick products that you know have excellent coverage, are highly pigmented, and require little to no effort to apply. Forget trying to colour-correct, this look is all about getting ready as quickly as possible! The aim is NOT to get a full-coverage finish, it's more like 'just enough'. You will then feel comfortable and confident to go out to the shops, go out with your friends, and have a good time! It's not made to be long-lasting either, just simple makeup you can throw on to get things done. Hooray!
