FOUNDATION UNDERTONES:
I will do a more indepth video explaining this better but simply to correct myself in this video heres how to determine your skins undertones.
Warm are gold, olive, or yellow undertones.
You're Warm id you tan when in the sun, you look better in gold jewellery than silver, the veins on the inside of your wrist is closer to green than blue.
Cold are blue, red and pink undertones.
You're cool if you burn easily, you look better in silver jewellery than gold, your veins in your wrist are closer to blue than green.
There is also Neutral Tones which has neither pink or yellow tones. Look for more ashy and beige shades. When you try a shade and it looks too yellow or too pink then they are wrong for your tone.
For MAC
C = Cool (yellow and olive tones)
NC = Neutral Cool (Golden beige)
N = Neutral (Beige)
NW = Neutral warm (Pink Beige)
W = Warm (pink)
MAC use the Artists Colour Wheel (I use this colour wheel in my art so this is why I get confused lol) which is backwards to what people often believe is cool/warm.
Think of MAC as
NC= Not Cool
NW = Not Warm
I hope this makes it easier.
