Three easy nail art designs!
Easy nail art designs that will make your nails pretty and colourful. These designs are great for beginners to nail art. In this nails tutorial I will show you how you can create eye-catching nails at home.
If you like to decorate you nails with cute designs this tutorial will teach you three different nail designs step by step.
All you will need for to do this nail art is a few colours of nail polish and a dotting tool. If you don’t have a dotting tool you can create dots using a bobby pin or toothpick.
I like my nail art to be bright and colourful but also quick and easy, the three nail designs shown in this tutorial took around ten minutes to do all of my nails.
All these designs work on long or short nails!
For the first nail art design I have started with white nails, I used different colours of nail polish to paint thick lines down each side of my nail. If you want perfectly straight lines you can use nail art tape or ordinary scotch tape.
I finished the nail art by using my dotting tool to add dots down the centre of the nail. Using different colour nail polish for on each nail really makes this nails design stand out on white nails.
The second nail art design is the easiest. I started with white nails and added pink and purple to the nails.
I took off most of the nail polish from the brush, making it so there was barely any nail polish visible on the brush. The I gently stroked the nail polish brush over my nails. This gives the nails a really nice line effect. Awesomely easy nail art design!
For the final nail art design, I started with light purple nails. Then using neon pink orange and purple I did different size line along my nail. I filled in the gaps on the lines using my dotting tool.
I did some of my nails with horizontal lines and some with vertical lines.
I think all the designs shown in this tutorial would also work well as an accent nail.
I finish all of my nail art designs with a good top coat to ensure the designs stay on my nails for as long as possible. I normally get two or three days wear of each nail design before I change them.
TIPS-
To help you nail art designs stay on your nails for longer without chipping, clean your nails with white vinegar before painting them. This helps rid the nail of any dirt and grease.
If you are recreating the first nail art design in this tutorial and you are using nail art tape or scotch tape to create straight lines, remove the tape straight away. Don’t wait for the nail art to dry!
If you recreate the second nail art design in this tutorial, clean the top of you nail polish bottle with cotton wool. This will stop the lid sticking to the bottle with all the excess nail polish.
I hope you enjoyed these three easy nail art designs and have fun being creative with your own nails!
