This is a makeup tutorial on how to enhance your cleavage using Highlighting and Contouring. Makeup Artists use these techniques on celebrities and models on both male or female.
Using similar techniques like we do on the face, applying products on the body can enhance and make the illusion of a more defined and toned body.
Here I will show you how easy it is to make your breasts/ or pecks fuller and rounder, elongate your neck and make your collar bone more pronounced by contouring and highlighting specific areas on our body. Keeping the look completely wearable and natural.
I am a great believer in using makeup techniques instead of opting the scary procedures of cosmetic and plastic surgeries. Give it a try and if could work wonders for you which will help with body confidence.
I'm there will be a few feminists our there that disagree with doing this but if you do it for yourself and feel better about yourself than there is nothing wrong with enhancing certain areas of your body whether it's your abs, cleavage or face.
There's no harm with a little cheating!
Product list I recommend for body contouring:
Prep the Skin to begin with. Exfoliate the area if needed to get rid of any dry patches.
Moisture the skin.
I used Super drugs own brand Vitamin E 360 Spray-on All Over BOdy Lotion. It's quick, light and moisturising.
Use a primer suited for your needs like if you have redness use a anti- redness green primer or if you have open pores use a primer to help smooth the skin and fill in pore area.
Highlighting
I like to use products with soft shimmer particles such as -
Benefit Bathina
The Body Shop Coconut Shimmer Body Butter (Cheap option but great product) Opt for warmer colour if you have darker skin tones like a bronze or golden shimmer.
Illamasqua Aurora cream based highlighter
If you prefer you can use matte colours as a highlighter. Try lighter foundations or concealers.
Remember nothing too glittery.
Contouring
2/3 shades darker than your own skin tone.
Stay away from shimmery bronzers as this will have the opposite effect and reflect light like the highlighting technique. If you do want to use shimmery bronzers only use this as a sun-kissed wash of colour all over chest area. I love using Bobbi Brown's Illuminating Bronzing Powder Aruba.
If you prefer to use powder to contour than a cream based product.
Try these-
Bobbi Brown Matte Bronzing Powder. For similar skin tone to me try Golden Light.
Lancome Star Bronzer
MAC Contou press powder
I like to use cream based products such as MAC's Paint Stick in Deep Brown. (For very pale skin tones use a product which is lighter than the deep brown colour).
Cream products I find easier to blend on the body for a natural look. You can use cream contour products or even darker foundations or concealers.
Please ask if you have any questions. I will try to answer the best I can.
Have fun, be confident and keep smiling.
Luv Krystle xx
