Since I shared that my former relationship of 5 years ended about 6 months ago, I was requested to do an advice video about how to get over from a breakup so here it is. These are habits I adopted, but bare in mind they might not suit everyone.

My sincere advice: don't ever let any one moment, situation or relationship define you as a person. If you are not happy in a relationship, then it's not worth the upkeep. Happiness is something that comes from within. A breakup can be a catalyst to positive changes in your life - you just have make the incentive to make it so.
