Chris & Rachel's Favourite Pot Roast (Slow Cooker)
- Beef roast (3lbs)
- condensed cream of mushroom soup (10oz)
- 1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup chopped onion
- water, 175ml
- tomato juice, 200ml
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2tsp garlic powder
- 1/2tsp italian seasoning
Put the beef into the slowcooker. Mix everything else in a bowl and then pour over the meat. Stir to coat the meat and then set it on low for about 5 hours. We usually double the sauce (everything but the meat) for more gravy and add in sliced mushrooms in the last half hour of cooking. Then serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles. ENJOY!!!
