In this video I will show you all how to make your own tinted purple conditioner. It's a lot more cost effective and it does a much better job at dealing with the stubborn brassiness in your hair - especially if you're a brunette like myself. Just be careful with how much of the temporary hair dye you use - always start with less than you think you need, and add more once you get a better idea of what ratio suits your hair colour. If you do end up with purple/blue hair and hate it, wash your colour out with a clarifying shampoo or dish detergent if you're super desperate.
