After taking my protective style out after 5 weeks, I couldn’t even phantom spending another 8 and a half hours putting them back in, so I decided to try a regimen that I’ve been hearing and seeing a lot about the Max Hydration Method. To start you should try and completed the entire regimen (all steps) for 7 days straight, I’m doing 5 days. The process is 5 steps although I really think it’s more like 4 since steps 4 and 5 are done at the same time. I hope you enjoy this journey with me!

Disclaimer:
I did not, and many women don’t do this process so they can do a wash and go or so they can change the texture of their hair (because only a chemical relaxer/perm/Brazilian blow out can do that), but to do exactly what the method says, get my hair to be extremely hydrated. Overall it’s taking me about a little over an hour and a half to do, if I was doing a wash then LOC/LCO method with a twist out it could be more time than the 1.5hours I’m doing with MHM. I plan to go back to twist outs just using MHM very soon!
