Max Hydration Method: Step 1, Clarifying- Baking Soda Rinse
This step 1 of the Max Hydration Method, during the application of the mixture I made sure that I detangled through my hair. This step 1 is my preferred method if I had to choose between this and the ACV rinse. Although this is the quicker easier mix and application, I found that the baking soda rinse worked best for my hair. The key take home is if you do this then you don’t do the other step 1 options.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 oz (2 tablespoons) conditioner
4 oz of water
Time: 25 minutes (includes application and 15 minutes wait time)
Cost: Cost: 0.99 cents for the baking soda
*Conditioner was 5.69, but note it was used across multiple process and I still have more than half container left :)
