I have to admit I was kind of over the Bentonite Clay, mostly because I was having a hard time rinsing it off my actual hair shaft (I was getting a residue like feeling). I decided to switch up to Red Clay, it’s similar in price point and the application is similar (although Red Clay mixes easier). If I had to compare them I’d pick this Red Clay first every time. While the Red Clay is not perfect, my hair is much less dry and has no residue on the hair shaft. I’m going to use this for a while, but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect clay.

Note: After the 3rd use, I’m still having a bit of trouble with residual clay on my scalp and I’m in California and I’m not going to spend 30 minutes rinsing my hair and wasting water. I’m going to try and modify my application and keep it further away from my scalp in the future.
