The holidays are almost here and I wanted to give you guys a few new gift ideas as well as introduce the newest member of our family, Harley! We rescued Harley from the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter here in Socal(or should I say he rescued us) He was in an abusive hoarding situation before and now gets the chance to live in a loving home. If you are looking for a new pet this holiday season, please consider adopting from the local shelter! There are so many loving pets waiting for their forever homes and needing a family to love.

Want to know how we adopted? We went to a few shelters and went on Petfinder.com to find pups we can adopt in the area. We we located a few that we fell in love with, we visited the respective animal shelters to meet the dogs, ask questions and try to get a better idea of their background and previous owner. Once we met Harley, we fell in love. This adorable little guy was wearing the cone of shame and looked so sad because he didn't have a home. We immediately applied to take him home. The shelters deterring if you would be a fit to adopt based on household size, how much time you can spend with them and past history. We work from home and Harley will be with us 24/7 as our office pup. We were accepted and took him home that weekend. We paid an adoption fee, he had all his medicals updated and paperwork in order. We love him so much and enjoyed the process so much that we are thinking of another one =)
