This time around, I get to show you how I cover my acne, scarring and red marks, as well as a deep brown smokey eye look using the Lorac Pro palette! Easy to do, with great coverage!
Hey guys!
Sorry about the delay in my videos, I've had a lot on my plate lately and had to make to decision: get my life in order, or do youtube videos. Well, clearly, my life is now a little bit more in order and my youtube is a fair bit out of whack!
I'll be making it up to you over the coming weeks, with multiple videos every week and lots of updates and info about what the bloody hell is happening in my life to put things in the crazy category.
Today, I wanted to share this 'get ready with me' look with you, which I actually wore to work straight after filming! I personally don't care about wearing brighter colours or bold eye looks to work, but if that's not quite your idea of a good time then by all means tone it down or pair the eyes with a softer, more neutral lip. Even just gloss! I also wear glasses, so having a bold eye for me isn't a drama - my goggles end up covering half my handiwork anyway. Again, you might not be in the same situation, so please feel free to change things up a bit if you need to.
Foundation-wise, I just did what I pretty much always do, so nothing new to report there! The Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation has really great coverage, and right now I need that to cover my acne scarring and redness. My acne is a lot calmer these days, but man I have a lot of redness to deal with!
Products used in this tutorial:
- Loreal Base Magique Primer
- Revlon Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin in 180
- Maybelline New York Age Defying Concealer in Light Pale
- Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder in Deep Natural
- Face Of Australia Eye Primer in Matte
- Minerallustre Mineral Blush in M4103-BL 'Adventure'*
- Hurraw lip balm in Black Cherry
- Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palette
- Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara*
- Benefit Gimmie Brow in Medium/Dark*
- Buxom Big And Healthy Lipstick in Amsterdam
The brushes I use in this look are from Furless*. The smaller brushes are from their travel pack, and the rest are individual brushes. The large stippling brush has been discontinued which makes me really sad in the face! But you should be able to get everything else from their website: http://furlesscosmetics.com.au
